Omar Masri
About
Omar Masri is a software entrepreneur, founder, and CEO of Mamori.io, which helps businesses overcome the cost and complexities of cybersecurity – preventing attacks while meeting compliance and cyber insurance requirements. He is also a director of a data migration and security services company and is co-incubating a non-emergent transport services startup.
Experience
Over the course of his career, Omar Masri has worked in multiple technology projects at Dell, Sentient Science, and Quest Software, to name a few. He has extensive experience in all things data, from database design, data migration and all the way to data security and cybersecurity. He had experienced multiple data breaches and implemented multiple data security solutions. Not only were those solutions complex, integration requirements frequently produced errors and created unmanageable workload which led to security oversight. He couldn’t help but wonder: “Why isn’t there a better solution?”
In 2019, Omar Masri founded Mamori.io in Melbourne, Australia, with the goal of providing data security solution that is simple, comprehensive, easy-to-deploy and cost-effective.
Education
Omar attended Auburn University, the same undergraduate school as Tim Cook.
